Pell & Baldwin (Fabrications) Ltd are an established company with over 30 years of experience. All our work from fabrication to installation is carried out to Quality Assurance standard which we have held since 1991.
Parapet upgrades
Pell & Baldwin offer a complete parapet upgrading package for bridges. We can remove the old parapet railings including the anchorages in the plinth. A pull-out test of the existing anchors maybe required or we can diamond core drill and install new stainless steel HAPAS approved anchors. The new parapet can then be installed by our approved parapet installers to a very high standard.

Damaged parapets need to be repaired in quick time. After we receive a call to carryout a site survey on a damaged section one of our survey team can be on site the same day if required. Materials are then sourced or new components fabricated at our factory before our repair team carry out the installation of the damaged section to highway sector scheme 5B approval. A repair may only be to a single mesh infill panel or a section of a flashing strip. This is know problem to Pell and Baldwin who can mobilise one of there quick response teams to carry out the minor repair.
Refurbisment
All refurbishment can be carried out by Pell & Baldwin to an existing parapet. Removal of old mesh infill and replacement with new or painting of steel parapet with new paint system. We can also remove and replace the grout pads under the parapet posts. You may require a safety fence connection being installed to the ends of the existing main rails. Please give our sales team a call to discuss your requirements.
Parapet Railings HBP/300 system
We are an approved manufacturer and supplier of the Corus 300 parapet system. This system is approved to BS EN 1317 and a market leader due to the value and back up which can be offered by Pell & Baldwin and Corus. There is no need for maintenance when installed due to all the fixings being stainless steel and the 30 year life of the galvanised finish. Another benefit is the repair cost is much lower to other systems if someone was to crash into the barrier. With all the above and over 30 yrs in the business from Pell & Baldwin and the approval of Corus, the HBP/300 system has to be the choice above others.
The HBP 300 system from Corus is the best parapet system on the market
Only the HBP 300 system uses the best HOT rolled material
All the fixings on the HBP 300 are stainless steel. No others steel parapet uses stainless fixings
Steel Parapets v Aluminium Parapets
Steel parapets are a cheaper more cost affective parapet system.

We specialise in the manufacture and erection of metalwork for the building, construction and highway maintenance industry.
Quality
All our welders hold welder approved test certificates to EN standard. Testing of parapet posts where required by purchaser, can be carried out for 100% visual and non-destructive inspection.
